Skeev Media recently did a video interview for Carsonsports.com, we learned a lot of interesting information about the history of Carson City. Jumpin Jajosafat! With all the projects currently going on it is simply amazing that the site for our base of operations has gotten this far. With managing websites and online commerce as well as taking on new clients our site has taken the backseat a time or two. As much as we hate putting the site on the backburner we are still on course to have the site completely live by mid-late June. We have some local advertisements going out in the next few weeks so it is imperative that the site get as close to done before that happens as possible. However, the service we are advertising for right now is our video transfer service.

We just updated our wordpress to the latest release, 2.8. So far we haven’t experienced any bugs and things seem to be working well. (Knock on wood).

And now onto other news, the site is coming along great, we are still on track to make the mid-late June deadline of having the site complete. We have a bunch of specials in the works that will be shared upon final launch. As usual we are live and ready to take any orders for video transfers. We have been working on how we are going to implement our newsletter, what it will contain and how it will help our readers. We finally settled on aweber to handle all of our newsletter requests. Our monthly newsletter will update clients and readers alike on what we are up to, special deals for you what we have in the works and a whole lot more. So next time you come to visit you might see a pop up window informing you of our newsletter and giving you the opportunity to sign up. I also wanted to update everyone on the status of the site. Things are moving right along, with the design, structure phase complete we are moving into completing the task of adding content to all of our pages. All of our services are available to the public however, our video transfer service is the only service being advertised.

We plan to have the site fully operational and complete by mid June, then we will be taking on new clients for all services including photography, video, web design and development and of course our most sought after service, local blitz. Local blitz will help any small to medium size business looking to get their site ranked in their geographical location. For instance if you go to google and search out ‘carson city video transfers’ you will see that Skeev Media has the first few links on the page. Not just one link but a handful. The service will encompass social marketing, video marketing and the likes. Beating out your local competition in the search engines is a must these days to stay competitive.

We are firm believers in wordpress! We have decided to run our site and this blog on the wordpress platform. There are many reasons behind this, the main factor was that Goog seems to really like wordpress. We have tested index times and all of our wordpress sites usually get indexed in less than 24 hours where as our static, non cms builds have taken weeks. I just wanted to give everyone an update on whats going on behind the scenes over here at Skeev Media. We have the structure of the site totally complete now and will fill our pages with content and information as time goes on.

Oh Happy Day! We have finally finished the graphical design of the new Skeev Media site, I think it looks really good. It is simple yet eye catching and we plan to upload all the page templates sometime tonight. The site structure will be in place and most of the pages will be blank waiting for us to fill them with content. Which will be a work in progress with all the other projects that are going on right now. Be patient, if there is anyone actually waiting for this site to be finished. Also, we are running advertisements for our video transfer services which we are currently taking orders. Once the site is complete we will be fully operational to offer you all the goods.

Skeev Media has now aquired http://skeevmedia.com as our new online home. We should have the site up and fully functional within 4-6 weeks. Right now we will just keep you updated via this blog and once the site is ready we will go live. Our site will be full of useful information so it might take some time to have it completely finished. Currently we are promoting our video transfer service. We will start advertising for this service before the site is live so if you are coming here as a result of said advertising, we will have the site complete soon.
